North Dakota natives, Chuck & Sherry Andrus, have always enjoyed the beauty of the North Dakota Badlands.  They purchased The Buffalo Gap Gift Shop and Lake Country Stitches in September 2009 and have worked at transforming the business into a thriving and vibrant shop best described as a store with something for everyone. They shortened the name to The Buffalo Gap Gift Shop and have broadened the store’s inventory to include a greater selection of garden products, particularly the mesmerizing kinetic wind spinners. The Buffalo Gap Gift Shop is a Pride of Dakota retailer, merchandising both their own embroidered clothing and caps as well as Pride of Dakota products from talented craftsmen throughout North Dakota. In 2019, after thousands of requests, The Buffalo Gap Gift Shop began its online shopping portal.
